David Schulgen is the Chief Executive Officer and Founder of Airstreams Renewables, Inc. and has been involved in nearly all areas of wind energy since 1985.

Dave has held multiple Directorships, Managerial and Supervisory positions responsible for the commissioning and operations of thousands of megawatts throughout his career. Dave started his career proudly with the US Marine Corps. as an Electrician and that training served as the foundation of our training program.

Dave has held positions include: Director of Field Services for Commercial Americas with Enron and GE Wind. He was responsible for all the O&M wind projects in North America; Director of Manufacturing responsible for the assembly of all Enron Wind / Commercial Americas 1.5 megawatt turbines, now the GE 1.5 turbine; Training Manager responsible for the design and implementation of a successful skill based certification program, Manager of Electrical assembly for the Zond 750 turbine; Sky River Site Supervisor a 77 megawatt Vestas V-27 s project; Lead Technician 1500 65 kw turbines.
